Information you give us

When you contact us, request a home evaluation, ask for listings or rentals, or sign up for updates, we collect the details you choose to share, such as:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The areas, price range, home type, timeline and financing status you are interested in
• A property address, if you ask about selling or leasing
• Anything you write in a message

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the site secure, prevent spam and fix problems.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our staff login uses an essential cookie that is only set when an authorized team member signs in. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

Calls, texts and emails

If you give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you about your inquiry. We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us at (905) 876-4126.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you:

• With service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and email delivery, who may use it only on our behalf
• With your permission, with others involved in your transaction, such as lenders, lawyers, inspectors and the other party’s brokerage
• With our affiliated Texas brokerage when you ask us to help with a move between Canada and the United States
• When required by law, a court order or the Real Estate Council of Ontario, or to protect rights and safety

Where your information is stored

Our website and client records are hosted on servers that may be located outside Ontario, including in the United States, where they may be subject to local laws. We use service providers who protect information to a standard comparable to ours.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we have a working relationship with you and as long as needed to meet legal, tax and real estate recordkeeping requirements. After that we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect it

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), our client records are stored in access-controlled systems, and only authorized team members can view them. No system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your information has been misused.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent to marketing, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
